Berlin: Brunner Verlag & Willi Bischoff. A fascinating propaganda photo-book from 1943. Anti -American photographs, depicting the USA as degenerate, full of poverty, unemployment, alcohol and sex, etc. Roosevelt is particularly mocked, and portrayed as getting the war he wanted. Reproductions of Dorothea Lange "Migrant Mother" and other documentary photos. The scarce dust wrapper (depicting a man stroking a showgirl on stage) is present, but in a bad way! Spine is almost entirely missing, and is held together by tape. Pale card boards with owner's bookplate to the front board. Text in German. Unpaginated.
As mentioned, the wrapper is in poor condition. Front panel has chips to the corner with loss, and creases. Spine missing. rear panel a little torn. Book itself in very good condition. Pages a little darkened, but clean.
